Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year from AIFA
Allergy and immunology researchers have shown what they can achieve if they are given the funding resources they need, even in the most challenging times.
Thank you to ASCIA members and other donors (corporate and public) who support allergy and immunology research through AIFA grants.
Highlights of 2021:
- AIFA has achieved our goal of funding over $500,000 in research grants since 2015.
- Project results were presented at the ASCIA virtual conference in September. It was inspirational to hear how the work of AIFA grant recipients from 2015-2019 shines light on the working of the immune system.
- We are proud that many researchers who have been awarded an AIFA grant have gone on to be recognised with larger federal government funding through the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
